The main objective of the webinar was to give an overview and raise awareness among consortium partners on the activities to facilitate their work in the project.
NTNU will assess the environmental impact and financial perspective of the involved processes, materials, and systems within the project. LCA will be used to characterise the environmental impacts of the whole life cycle of the tanks employed in the project, the recycling process selected, and the new products developed. The LCCA will determine the costs associated with the whole project life cycle, i.e., from the recovery of used tanks to the reuse by other companies. A sensitivity analysis will be carried out to optimize costs and increase economic feasibility.
In the upcoming months, NTNU will hold bilateral meetings, perform LCA and LCC trials, and collect data for inventory analysis in collaboration with other technical partners.
