The OVERLEAF project will participate in the 2024 FORMNEXT event, held in Frankfurt from November 19 to 22. As a major hub for additive manufacturing, Formnext serves as a central information platform for 3D printing experts and production professionals from diverse industries.
One of the project partners, AIMEN, will present a talk titled “Advanced Strategies for Large-Scale Additive Manufacturing of High-Performance Cryogenic Storage Components” on Wednesday, November 20. The presentation will cover advanced strategies in large-scale additive manufacturing (LFAM) for creating high-performance, cryogenic-ready components. It will highlight methods such as material optimization, layer adhesion, hardware enhancements, monitoring, and design adaptations, all evaluated for feasibility and sustainability. The findings will underscore LFAM’s potential for customization, efficiency, and contribution to the hydrogen economy.
